A public meeting to discuss the latest news regarding the ambitious Big Art project will be held at the Small World Theatre in Cardigan on Tuesday, September 2nd from 8pm onwards.
Constructive discussion was the order of the day at a recent meeting held at Creative Mwldan in Cardigan to address a number of issues relating to the proposed design and location of the Cardigan Big Art project.
Internationally-acclaimed multimedia artist, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, has been selected by a Welsh community to develop a new public artwork for the Prince Charles Quay in Cardigan, as part of Channel 4’s Big Art Project.
Cardigan was fortunate to be one of the sites selected, out of the 1500 communities which applied for Channel 4’s Big Art Project. As a result it will be participating in a televised ground-breaking documentary featuring the transformation of its Quay-side area into a stunning and imaginative public space. In turn, the project is now looking for corporate investors and sponsors to turn the dream into a reality.
